Glamping "Jūras Krasti"

The camping (JKK) is located in the same territory as the Holiday homes „Jūras Krasti“, in a separated area with common exit to the sea. Geographic location – in the southern part of Latvia, Kurzeme, 40 km from Lithuanian border.

For nature lovers and those seeking active recreation, peace and romance we offer five comfortable holiday tents on the beach of the Baltic sea in a closed and private camping territory.

       All tents are equipped with double beds and possible 2 additional beds. For common use there is camping kitchen, WCs, showers, outdoor SPA complex (sauna, jacuzzi, WC, shower, kitchen and barbeque area) and the 150 m of beach adjacent to the property. The total area of the territory is  1,4 ha.

Rest assured – both tranquillity and strength, provided in abundance by the proximity of the sea, during the rest time in JKK you will be provided and guaranteed with a shot of positive energy – both in a company of your friends and with your partner, or simply spending time with yourself… !!!

 

1. Tents and private area 

 

Each tent is 16 m2 large and features one double bed (140 cm x 200cm).

In some tents there are 1-2 additional beds (the number may be changed as necessary).

There are bedside tables next to the beds. The tents have two lounge chairs and a coffee table, as well as a bench/box for storage of belongings. There is lighting and electricity outlets. The tents are waterproof. There are 2-4 lounge chairs, a coffee table and parking space for 1 car, grill outside the tent and free WIFI. Bed linen is included in the price for all  JKK guests.

 

2. JKK territory, facilities

 

There is a kitchen/WC/shower house in the camping territory, which is provided at the disposal of the JKK guests only. 

The kitchen is equipped with tableware, refrigerator, stove, microwave, teapot, washing machine, dryer, etc. The territory is closed and provided only  for JKK guests who have bookings and for guests with private campers. Maximum number of guests in JK camping – 20 persons. Free WIFI is available in the entire JKK territory.  

 

3. Beach and sea

 

         The Jūrmalciems beach is  ~ 40 – 70 m wide, sandy, without stones. In autumn and spring you can go hiking on the beach to pick amber stones all day long. The see is gradually deepening and safe for beginner swimmers. To the north there is around 3 km long fully uninhabited beach, which, the same as JŪRAS KRASTI, borders on the Bernāti Nature Park. There is an old pier reaching into the sea in front of the property.

 

4. Outdoor SPA complex

 

         The territory of the Holiday Homes JŪRAS KRASTI has a separated area with firewood for sauna and heated outdoor jacuzzi. It is attached to an outdoor terrace with tables, WC/shower house and outdoor kitchen and barbeque area. The sauna can be comfortably used by a company of 4-6 people, the jacuzzi – for 6-8 persons.

The booking includes also the aforementioned recreational zone.

Note! SPA complex open hours: 

- 13:00 – 16:00, 

- 17:00 – 20:00,

- 21:00 -24:00.

Please book at least 24 h before the planned visit. 

 

5. Firewood

 

For barbeque we offer dry, chopped firewood. Price per basket – 3EUR , per 2 baskets - 5EUR. The price includes ignition liquid.

 

6. Surroundings

 

Since JKK is surrounded by a rich pine forest,  this may be a beginning for many beautiful nature paths, following the directions in Bernāti and Pape Nature Parks. Nordic walking lovers will be sure to have several hours or all day long hikes. The highest dune in Latvia – Pūsēni Hill is located 500 m from JKK. If you are lucky, on a clear day you can see Lithuania... 

There are plenty of bicycle routes and paths.  

 

7. Nearest towns and food 

 

JKK is located 20 km from Liepāja, 10 km from Nīca, 55 km from Palanga, bistro BizBiz and restaurant/cafe „Nīcava” is 10 km away, the closest shop is 2 km away in the centre of Jūrmalciems. There is a petrol station in Nīca.

 

8. How to find us

 

Put in the address in navigator (Google maps, Waze) - Jūras Krasti (Jūrmalciems), find the place.

2. Drive up to 1 m from the barrier, installed on the JK access road before the territory and it will be lifted automatically (24h).
